Electrical Installation Specialist

Mitie Telecoms is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team in the Peterborough/Cambridgeshire area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical installations, LED lighting installations, and Electric Vehicle charger installations in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures.
  • Drive and promote Mitie's One Code, which is integral to our company values and behaviours.
  • Perform tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard, meeting both Client and Mitie expectations, while working compliantly within Health and Safety policy/legislation.
  • Hold a UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points, as driving is 50% of the role.


Main Duties:
  • Undertake LED Lighting and electrical installations.
  • Work closely with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet completion targets set for a particular project.
  • Ability to work nights and stay away from home, as majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours.
  • Work to electrical drawings, e.g., installation, circuit diagrams, and line schematics.
  • Produce a quality end product first time, with no re-work required.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.


Requirements:
  • Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations, 2383-18 18th Edition Update.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or NVQ 3 Electrical installation.
  • 2391-52 Test and Inspection desirable.
  • IPAF – Desirable, PASMA – Desirable.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize own workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
