Chart Industries Seeks a Skilled Financial Accountant for a 15-Month Fixed Term Contract.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to support our finance team in all aspects of group and statutory reporting. In this role, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and SOX controls. You will also collaborate with project controllers on financial planning and analysis, contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.
About the Role...- Group & Statutory Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Group Reporting in OneStream: Take ownership of weekly, monthly, and quarterly submissions through OneStream, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Cash Forecasting: Prepare weekly cash forecasts, working closely with the Shared Services Centre (SSC) to ensure accurate and reliable projections.
- Forecasts & Budgets: Assist in the preparation of company forecasts and budgets, contributing to the financial planning and analysis process.
- Audit Support: Provide assistance to internal and external auditors by gathering relevant information and answering queries.
- Statutory Accounts: Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP/FRS102, ensuring financial statements are accurate and compliant.
- SOX Compliance: Ensure SOX controls are adhered to and maintain sufficient documentation to support compliance efforts.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with various departments, including SSC and project teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of financial activities and initiatives.
- Professional Growth: Expand your skills in financial reporting, VAT compliance, SOX controls, and project management, all while working within a dynamic, global company.
