About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business professional to join our team as a Second in Charge. As a key member of our Business Department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our Business curriculum and enrichment offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Business education to students at KS4 and beyond
• Support the Head of Department in establishing high expectations in every classroom through strong routines, great relationships, and impactful delivery of our curriculum
• Contribute to the development of our Business curriculum and enrichment offer to inspire students to pursue Business-related careers
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of our curriculum and enrichment programs
• Support the school's mission to ensure that every student leaves Elvin confident, articulate, and culturally aware, able to pursue careers they are passionate about, contribute to society, and live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives

Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality Business education and achieving strong outcomes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and nurture students and staff
• High expectations for student behavior and learning, with a commitment to serving our diverse community in Brent
• Keenness to learn and develop in your role and as a leader, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Great team player with high standards of reliability, professionalism, and courteousness
