Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive professional legal advice to Children's Services
  • Manage a portfolio of cases, including s31 Care Proceedings, Emergency Protection Orders, and advising on PLO proceedings, adoption, leaving care, and age assessments
  • Undertake advocacy in Luton and negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives
  • Provide support and guidance to the wider team and help them develop their skills
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE
  • Previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills
  • Experience of managing and mentoring team members
