We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at Prince Personnel Limited. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team in a variety of accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase ledger management
  • Sales ledger management
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Collation and processing of payroll for two monthly cycles
  • Administration of pension schemes and contributions
  • Submission of monthly CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Posting of entries to the Nominal Ledger, including prepayments and accruals
  • Contribution to month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role is essential
  • Ideal experience of running payroll
  • Excel skills, including the use of formulas and spreadsheet creation
