Mobile Application Engineer

Our client, a global leader in secure digital, physical, and transactional solutions, is seeking 2 Mobile Application Engineers to join their Software Development team. This team provides agile development services to a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders, supporting key software products that drive their business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software using appropriate design patterns.
  • Drive incremental delivery of software that provides the highest value to users and addresses risks in a timely manner.
  • Promote knowledge sharing across teams to facilitate collaboration on the same codebase.
  • Regularly update your team and colleagues on your work through agile ceremonies and software development lifecycle tools.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in ways of working, processes, and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Review code authored by colleagues, identify potential issues, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Take responsibility for managing priorities, supporting investigations, and creating appropriate fixes during live incidents.
  • Assist delivery leads and architecture colleagues in identifying and defining technical tasks and activities required to deliver user stories.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience developing and releasing real-world mobile applications across both iOS and Android.
    • Experience with Xamarin or.NET MAUI.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Azure or similar.
    • Ability to write automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
    • Experience working with Git or similar source control.
    • Working in an Agile environment.
    • Knowledge of developing within a continuous integration environment and providing constructive feedback through code reviews.

This role involves working closely with Product Owners to implement new features, enhance user experiences, and drive technological innovation. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Software Development team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications.
