Job Summary

Martis Search is representing a boutique Mayfair-based Hedge Fund start-up to hire a temporary Equity Hedge Fund Trade Support Analyst.

The Hedge Fund invests in Equity Long/Short strategies, and the role sits on their Trading Floor next to the Front Office Investment team (CEO, Fund Managers, Analysts, Sales & Marketing).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with and partner with the Head of Operations/COO and have a proven track record working within a small Hedge Fund in a senior Equity Trade Support role.
  • Have working experience (from an Operational perspective) for Compliance/Disclosure Reporting, which will catch the Head of Operations/COO's attention.
  • Be involved in the full Trade-Life Cycle and Investment Operations responsibilities, as well as related project management/change experience.
  • Understand the FCA regulatory framework investment compliance and UCITS fund regulations, as well as Disclosure Reporting.
Requirements
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of Equity Hedge Fund Trade Support background.
  • Be from an Institutional Hedge Fund or boutique Asset Management background.
  • Be available to start as soon as possible, initially as a temp, with the strong possibility for permanent or extension.
Benefits
  • Daily rate equivalent of between £60,000-£85,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
  • Full on-the-job training given by the experienced Head of Operations/COO.
