Our operations offer an eco-friendly alternative for waste producers seeking a reliable method to divert food waste from landfills.


Position Summary:

We are currently seeking applications for the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This position entails a commitment of 45 hours per week, with working hours from 6.00am to 4.00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch), along with potential overtime to cover shifts as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on all electrical systems and machinery.
  • Execute electrical installations and upgrades throughout the facility.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Conduct electrical maintenance, including the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system.
  • Carry out scheduled electrical repairs and maintenance, ensuring completion of risk assessments.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Support production teams during shifts and provide coverage when needed.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and operational teams as required.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in an Anaerobic Digestion facility or a similar environment.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial setting is required.
  • Completion of a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship is essential.
  • Extensive electrical expertise in a continuous process environment is necessary.
  • Proven skills in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution are expected.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance practices in a factory setting is important.
  • Knowledge of installation processes, including PLCs, controls, automation, and wiring, is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels are essential.
  • A motivated and proactive approach is necessary.
