The Role:

As a Commercial Insurance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in advancing the business. Your responsibilities will include managing and expanding a portfolio of SME clients, offering expert guidance, and ensuring top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing SME clients
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and propose tailored insurance solutions
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal terms and premiums for clients
  • Prepare and deliver insurance proposals to clients
  • Manage policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims assistance
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulatory updates
  • Contribute to the brokerage's growth strategies and business development efforts

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Insurance Consultant, ideally with a focus on SMEs
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK insurance landscape
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • CII qualifications (Cert CII or Dip CII) are preferred
