Galliford Try Infrastructure Ltd, a leading player in the HTP sector, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team for a premium project on the M5 J10 in Cheltenham. This contract-based opportunity spans 6 months, with a focus on daytime shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  2. Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  3. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to achieve project milestones.
  4. Conduct site surveys and ensure quality control throughout the construction phases.
  5. Prepare progress reports and update project documentation to facilitate effective project management.
  6. Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  7. Identify and address potential issues that may impact project deadlines.
  8. Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with project blueprints and specifications.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in civil engineering, particularly within the HTP sector.
  2. Extensive knowledge of construction processes and site management.
  3. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  4. Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and manage site personnel.
  5. Proficiency in conducting site surveys and quality control inspections.
  6. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  8. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
