About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of health and safety awareness and encourage participation in health and safety initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive health and safety training program to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed about changing health and safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- CQI Certificate in Quality Management or equivalent.
- Internal Auditor certification.
- Proven experience in driving changes and improvements.
- ISO9001, 14001, 18001/45001 experience.
