**Location:** Portsmouth

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems for our atmospheric control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for our atmospheric control systems.
  • Work with our design team to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure that all systems are manufactured and tested to the highest standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our production team as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure that all systems are installed and functioning correctly.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Background of electrical/electronic manufacturing practices.
  • Structured, logical approach to engineering design.
  • Fault finding.
  • Ability to work within a team with initiative and minimum supervision to a programme.
  • Experience of using PLCs/Automation controllers - of both hardware and software aspects.

Desirable:

  • Membership of professional institute.
  • Time served Apprenticeship.
  • Familiarity with military equipment requirements.
  • Confident manner.
  • Flexible approach.
  • Positive attitude.

Travel Requirements:

Some travel to other TP group offices in the UK may occasionally be required.

Security Clearance:

Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK and have passed UK security clearance to Security Check level or be able to obtain this level.
