Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at River Island. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales advisors and ensuring that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales advisors to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and overheads.
  • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety, security, and customer service standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably with River Island.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to other stores as required.
  • Knowledge of retail systems, including POS, inventory management, and visual merchandising software.
