About the Role:

IDEX Consulting Ltd is working exclusively with one of the UK's leading pension consulting firms in the search for a Senior Pension Administrator in their DB schemes team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and lead on a portfolio of DB schemes, acting as the client relationship manager.
  • Manage ad-hoc and annual pension projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislation, regulation, and codes of practice.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing the overall efficiency of the DB schemes team.

Requirements:

  • Broad pension's technical knowledge, with at least five years' experience working in a Defined Benefit pension administration environment.
  • Practical knowledge of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) and experience with GMP Reconciliation / Equalisation calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Windows applications, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
