Position Overview
Jubilee Street Practice LTD is a well-structured and effective healthcare facility with a growing patient list of 15,000.
Role Details:

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will collaborate with the practice's clinical team to provide effective, high-quality care and treatment through both face-to-face and telephone consultations. The role encompasses all standard responsibilities of a GP in primary care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations.
- Referring patients to external organizations when clinically necessary.
- Managing correspondence and clinical letters.
- Reviewing and acting on test results.
- Prescribing medications in accordance with patient needs and established guidelines.
- Maintaining precise clinical records in line with best practices.
- Completing reports and medical assessments.
- Engaging in QOF/local contract work as agreed.
- Managing a fixed workload during sessions, with minimal clinical administration and home visits.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting telephone triage and face-to-face consultations.
- Performing home visits as required.
- Attending practice meetings.
- Assisting with additional services as needed.
- Coordinating with external authorities as necessary.
- Adhering to practice protocols for QOF, prescribing incentive schemes, and other enhanced services as directed by the PCT/government or the practice.
- Participating in extended hours on a rotational basis.
- Evaluating personal performance and taking responsibility for actions, either independently or under supervision.
- Managing pathology results, hospital correspondence, and mail.
- Providing coverage for colleagues during their annual or study leave.
- Teaching and supervising students, GP Registrars, Nurses, or Advanced Practitioners.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Demonstrating punctuality and effectively managing time, workload, and resources.
- Upholding a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Fostering positive working relationships with staff, doctors, and patients.
- Preparing for and participating in CQC visits.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Full registration with GMC.
- Certification of completion of training and inclusion on the performers list.
- Eligibility to practice in General Practice within the NHS.
Desirable:
- Experience as a GP educator.
