Job Title: Class 2 Wet Waste Tanker Driver

Location: Barnstaple

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Wet Waste Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering liquid sludge within the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection and delivery of liquid sludge
  • Planning routes on a day-to-day basis
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing a high level of customer service
  • Attending regular training sessions

Requirements:

  • Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous, but full training will be given
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the local area
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
