Position Overview

Morgan Hunt is seeking a qualified Instructor to teach GCSE and Functional Skills English at a reputable educational institution. We welcome applications from individuals who can dedicate between 2 to 5 days a week.

Compensation ranges from £30 to £42 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the complete Further Education and Training curriculum as the primary Instructor for assigned classes or groups.
  • Designing and organizing lessons, materials, and support systems to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Utilizing the institution's digital platforms to monitor student progress and attendance.
  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons with well-defined learning objectives.
  • Inspiring and motivating students through contemporary teaching techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate class attendance records and managing administrative tasks and assessments effectively.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as required by the educational institution.

Qualifications Required:

  • Extensive experience in the Further Education and Training sector.
  • Possession of a UK recognized teaching qualification (such as DTLLS, PCET, PGCE, or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education).
  • Demonstrated experience as an Instructor or Teacher with a proven track record in student retention and achievement.
  • GCSE qualifications in both Mathematics and English, at grades A-C or equivalent.
  • A valid DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
  • Consistent record of delivering high-quality teaching.
