Introduction to the Investment Management Team

Our investment offering is designed to understand the needs of our clients, creating bespoke portfolios tailored to each individual's personal needs. We take a holistic approach, considering the client's wider financial assets, requirements, and objectives to create and manage the most suitable investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Partners and Directors with regular portfolio reviews, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
  • Undertake research on companies and collective investment schemes, relaying this information to the firm-wide Investment Managers.
  • Attend investment meetings, internal and external seminars, and regulatory briefings to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Draft client correspondence, including performance summaries, market overviews, and other ad-hoc queries.
  • Load client trades on portfolios, ensuring seamless execution and optimal returns.
  • Communicate with other Advisers on client matters, including Financial Planners, Tax Advisers, and Solicitors.
  • Liaise with Investment Settlement Operations and Treasury departments on administrative matters, such as stock transfers, corporate actions, and international payments.

Requirements

  • Commit to completing the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and CISI's Masters in Wealth Management qualifications.
  • Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.
  • A Level: Minimum 112 UCAS points in top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
  • GCSE: Minimum Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths respectively.
