Job Title: Crew Leader

Location: Peterborough, UK

We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to join our team at our condiments manufacturing facility in Peterborough, UK. As a Crew Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of production staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of assigned production lines.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall plant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Communicate effectively with production staff, team managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
