Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across various facilities.
- Perform inspections and testing, including emergency lighting and PAT testing.
- Manage RCD testing and oversee the installation or repair of electrical components such as lamps and sockets.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and assist other trades as necessary.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and suppliers, demonstrating excellent written and verbal skills.
Candidate Requirements:
- Adhere to current best practices and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Previous experience with diverse access equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Proficient in testing and inspection, holding a 2391 qualification or equivalent.
- Up-to-date knowledge of wiring regulations and capable of completing NICEIC Certificates.
- Must possess a valid driving license and demonstrate manual handling capabilities.
- Assist with minor building repairs and general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Participate in on-call duties and maintain a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
- 18th Edition in electrical installation.
- NVQ Level 3 in electro-technical services (Electrical Installation).
- City & Guilds 2391 testing and inspection, along with City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2377 certification is desirable.
- Previous experience in a commercial maintenance role is essential.
- Flexibility to undertake tasks beyond specific trade duties.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices is crucial, with mandatory safety training provided.
- Strong focus on customer care and baseline security clearance is advantageous.
