We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support for Learning Assistant to join our team at Riverside Primary School. As a Support for Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, including autism.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Specialist Provision that meets the needs of autistic children and children with more complex additional support needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning, and support to meet the holistic needs of the young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people with complex needs, including autism
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide an appropriate environment, learning, and support
  • Use knowledge of autism and appropriate support strategies to support children and young people
  • Be a valued member of a team, working collaboratively to provide an excellent service
