Job Description

Role Overview

A Principal Subsea Structure and Tie-in engineer is required to support offshore deepwater projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for all engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support offshore deepwater projects with expertise in subsea structure and tie-in systems
  • Lead engineering activities from feasibility to Basic/FEED and execution phase
  • Design and develop subsea structures and tie-in systems
  • Conduct Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, Risk Assessment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Requirements
  • Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with respect to subsea structures and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design
  • Experience with Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, Risk Assessment
  • Strong knowledge of subsea and installation interfaces
