About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Children's Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children and young people undergoing planned elective day surgery.

As a Staff Nurse in this unit, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care, while also contributing to the development of clinical procedures and pathways. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and young people undergoing planned elective day surgery.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical procedures and pathways.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Registered Children's RNC Nurse on NMC Register.
  • Administration of IV medication.
  • Experience in an acute setting and/or ward experience in administering Immunisations/BCG with anaphylaxis knowledge (or working towards).
