Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in York, home of the Poppets. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily reporting of breakdowns vs PPMs activities, prioritize repair work, and plan and monitor machine performance.
  2. Collaboration: Work with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability and support External Contractors as needed.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical support for production when required and maintain the highest standards in housekeeping and paperwork.

Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualification and ability to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety, and safe panel entry.
  2. Experience: Experience of FMCG operations and PC literacy to use computer-based maintenance systems.
  3. Skills: Ability to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as complete machine size change procedures and their adjustments.
