Project Engineer Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Teespro Recruitment Ltd. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing selected project orders and interfacing with clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Project management and planning
* Attending internal pre-contract meetings and providing technical advice
* Receiving and acknowledging receipt of Steelwork Contractor AFC detail drawings
* Monitoring drawing office progress and preparing main contractor weekly progress reports
* Attending client meetings to resolve design, detailing, technical, and commercial questions
* Establishing and maintaining regular liaison processes with clients
* Directly supporting detail draughtsmen and administrative personnel

**Design and Detailing:**

* Ensuring quality assurance procedures are adopted within the department
* Appointing support detail draughtsmen to projects
* Maintaining programme timescales for drawn information
* Attending site to establish dimensions or resolve queries

**Requirements:**

* HND / Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
