Job Title: Corporate and Commercial Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Law Staff Ltd. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and licensing agreements.
  2. Corporate Governance: Advise clients on corporate governance and compliance issues, ensuring they meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
  3. Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence and assist with transactional matters, providing clients with expert guidance and support.
  4. General Corporate and Commercial Support: Provide legal support and guidance on general corporate and commercial issues, helping clients achieve their business objectives.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  6. Time Management: Allocate your time effectively between fee-earning, business development, and supervising junior members, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
  2. Experience: 6+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
  3. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law principles.
  4. Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  5. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Cross-Border Experience: Experience working on cross-border transactions is a plus.
