Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Educator to join our team at Step Teachers. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and inspiring art lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and national standards.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience as an Art Teacher in a UK-based school.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
