Maintenance Engineer, Plumbing and Heating Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team, specializing in plumbing and heating services. As a key member of our Facilities and Services department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining these services across our property portfolio.
Your primary focus will be on undertaking both reactive and planned works, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve issues, and provide technical support as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of our plumbing and heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of equipment, including water heaters, calorifiers, motors, and circulating heating pumps.
- Take on additional responsibilities for Legionella management and ensure all health and safety obligations are met.
- Produce, manage, and maintain critical spares lists to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Support the Estates Manager in developing process and procedures to improve team efficiency.
- NVQ or City & Guilds certification in a relevant category.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, heating, ventilation, F-Gas, and refrigeration.
- Mechanical maintenance engineering experience.
- Gas safe trained.
- Renewable energy installation and maintenance experience.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Knowledge of hot and cold water systems.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Knowledge of LEV systems is beneficial.
