Internal Sales Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at MKM Building Supplies. As an Internal Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales by building first-class relationships with customers both over the telephone and face-to-face.
  • Provide quotations to customers, follow them up, and proactively develop sales.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our building supplies products and services.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and report generation.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in a similar role within a builder's merchant environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Confident and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
