W Talent is working exclusively with a leading FMCG company in the non-food sector, seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their senior team in Rotherham. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, compliance, and continuous improvement are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance across all departments and processes.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide expert advice and support to management and staff on all Health and Safety matters, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Develop and deliver Health and Safety training to employees at all levels to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies, ensuring all certifications, permits, and standards are maintained.
- Monitor and report on Health and Safety performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up to date with changes in Health and Safety legislation and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Manage and lead emergency response plans and procedures.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
