About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, assembling, lifting, moving, operating machinery when trained, and offering general laboring assistance where required. These responsibilities are varied and may include activities that assist other departments and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine and equipment operation, including shot blast, automated weld, pressure washing equipment, mechanical saws, cranes, and FLTs.
  • Assembly, fitting, and testing of various products, including mechanical and electronic assembly.
  • Weld preparation, chamfering using hand tools and other chamfering equipment.
  • Loading and unloading of robotic weld jigs.
  • Able to work independently of the robotic programmer.
  • Able to follow S.O.P (Standard operation procedures).
  • Health and Safety conscious.
  • Able to carry out basic robotic maintenance checks.
  • Strong understanding of Kuka, Fanuc, and Yaskawa robots.
  • In-house company test to identify weld defects.
  • In-depth understanding of robotic weld sets.
  • Stud welding using automated welding equipment.
  • Robot weld cell operation.
  • Etching and engraving.
  • Disposal of scrap materials into the correct locations.
  • Identification of product.
  • General Housekeeping and laboring tasks.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Desirable:
    • Forklift truck Licence.
    • Crane Operations Certificate.
    • Engineering background.
    • Engineering experience.
