We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Technician/Production Operative to join our team at Willis Global Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, maintenance, and repair of specialist medical devices/equipment, between rental events originating in various care settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Decontamination and Preparation: Ensure the decontamination of medical devices to a high standard following company procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform quality control checks and repairs to ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Stock Management: Manage and prioritize available stock to meet business needs and demands, ensuring all stock and spare parts are always accounted for.
- Record Keeping: Record all activities using manual and IT systems.
- Health and Safety: Conform to all company ISO procedures and highlight any compliance issues to the line supervisor.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Good IT skills, knowledge of UDI/barcoding and other traceability systems an advantage.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and work colleagues, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Competitive Salary: £24K - £25K.
- Full Time Permanent Role: Monday to Friday – 8:00 – 16:30.
- Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, auto-enrol pension with Nest, EAP with virtual GP appointments and access to counselling and physio sessions, weekly fruit boxes delivered to the Depots, life assurance 2x salary, cycle to work scheme, enhanced paternity (2 weeks full pay) and maternity leave (3 months full pay), reward and recognition scheme (peer to peer and manager-led nominations).
