About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd. As a national provider of sustainable heating solutions, our services include the design, installation, maintenance, and management of plant rooms and heat networks on behalf of various clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance work on commercial plant and district heating schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a wide range of commercial heating systems.
- Respond to service calls, diagnose faults, repair, and renew equipment as needed.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance works to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain and upkeep of Plant Rooms and associated equipment.
- Participate in an on-call rota and attend callouts as required.
- Adhere to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
- Ensure all work is compliant with relevant legislation and contract SLAs.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications.
- Experience and knowledge of heating control systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.
- Understanding of communal/district heating schemes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Full UK Driving License.
