Project Coordinator

AVL UK Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to support our dynamic projects team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting established Project Managers in delivering AVL contracts from handover to final acceptance.
Main Responsibilities:- Support Project Managers in delivering contracts within time, specification, and budget.
- Take sole responsibility for selected AVL contracts to support departmental and individual development.
- Ensure key objectives are achieved and assist the project team with planning and delivery of ongoing projects.
- Report on contracts as required by AVL project reporting processes and tools.
- Maintain harmonious relationships with customers, sub-contractors, and AVL staff.
- Attend and contribute to meetings as required to effectively manage contracts.
- Provide feedback to Project Managers on status and support areas of the business where necessary.
- Support activities at customer facilities when required.
- Support the management of risk and opportunities.
- Provide ad hoc Senior Project team assistance tasks.
- HND or higher qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an equivalent environment.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to drive own tasks.
- Ability to embrace and encourage change.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Quality and process-oriented.
- Able to multitask and prioritize.
- Full driving license required.
- Good interpersonal skills with all levels of customers and AVL staff.
- Good quality report writing skills.
- Good general computer skills.
