Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Technician to join our Aseptic Services team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the aseptic preparation of advanced therapies and clinical trials, working closely with nursing, pharmacy, and operational management teams to provide a patient-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of a team of staff involved in the aseptic preparation of advanced therapies and clinical trials.
- Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, and operational management teams to provide a patient-focused service.
- Support the aseptic preparation of advanced therapies and clinical trials, adhering to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Assurance.
- Develop safe systems of working to ensure high professional standards of work conducive to patient safety.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including consultants, registrars, clinical nurse specialists, specialist clinical and technical pharmacists, clinical research teams, and administrative staff, to deliver seamless care to our patient cohort.
Requirements:
- Experience in aseptic services and pharmaceutical quality assurance.
- Desire to progress in these areas.
- Eye for detail, working knowledge of aseptic technique, and understanding of GMP.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites to fulfill the service needs of cross-site working.
