Full-time Financial Management Specialist (37.5 hours per week) – Remote Position
Are you the right fit for our team?
About You:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, V Look Ups, and Conditional Formatting. Comfortable with data importation.
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Background in a similar financial role
- Solid understanding of management accounting principles
- Familiarity with the health and social care sector is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Accounts, Budget Forecasting, and Cashflow Analysis
- Maintenance of Asset Register and Sales Ledger Verification
- Monthly Nominal Link between Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts
- Processing adjustments for Local Authority Purchase Orders related to support needs.
- Communication with individuals we support and their families
- Management of Balance Sheet Control Accounts
- Generating various reports, including Agency Usage Reports
- Executing Month-End processes in Sage (Prepayments, Accruals & Debts)
- Calculating Accrued Turnover
- Importing Journals to and from Sage Line 50 and budgeting software.
- Producing and formatting the P&L Excel report, including comments and insights
- Providing Payroll Support and Coverage
- Managing Online Banking and Card maintenance, along with sending monthly summary reports
