**Easby Electronics** is seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional to join our team as a Group Sourcing Manager. This newly created role will play a critical part in driving our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our strategic suppliers, identifying opportunities for collaboration and cost savings.
- Optimize product margins through aggregation, new supplier introduction, and innovative commercial agreements.
- Establish risk/reward sharing consignment agreements to drive business growth.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply while maximizing financial returns.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of 6 procurement professionals located in various locations.
- Oversee the Group Inventory Management Function.
- Negotiate all procurement and supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management teams to create compelling commercial proposals.
- Provide monthly reporting on key performance measures and drive improvement plans.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in a demanding supply chain environment, preferably in a distribution setting.
- Proven track record of managing and developing procurement teams.
- Technical knowledge of passive and active electronic components is a significant advantage.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) - Level 5 or above.
- Degree or similar level qualification.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary of £70,000 per annum.
- £6,000 car allowance.
- Annual bonus plan.
- Healthcare benefits.
