EMCOR UK is seeking a skilled Plumber - Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking and replacing worn-out parts, and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Respond to emergency calls and resolve plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and meet customer expectations.
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions to prevent future problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including documentation of repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Recognized plumbing qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
- Proven experience in installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel to various locations.
