Job Title: AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering)

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Wigan

Salary: £25K-£30K

A well-established multi-disciplinary design consultancy is seeking an ambitious AutoCAD Technician (Civil Engineering) to join their team. This opportunity offers a chance to learn all aspects of Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Geotechnical team in creating multiple ground engineering/geotechnical software designs.
  • Deliver AutoCAD and potentially Civil 3D projects.
  • Produce drawings, including volumes, geological sections, cut & fill, 3D ground models, borehole location plans, heat maps, and GIS.
  • Gain experience in other civil/structural drawings to expand knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 12 months+ experience in AutoCAD, preferably in the civil/geo field.
  • A desire to learn Civil Engineering with an HNC or HND.
  • Live local to Wigan.
