Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Care Quality Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Care Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of prospective foster carers, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits and interviews
- Evaluate the suitability of foster carers to provide a safe and stable environment for children
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers, providing ongoing support and guidance
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each child's needs
- Prepare and present assessment reports to the agency panel, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of each foster carer
Requirements:
- MA/BA in Social Work or related field
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in conducting social work assessments and evaluations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with foster carers and other professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management
- Driving license and own transport
- Ability to work in the UK without visa restrictions
Licence/Certification:
- HCPC registration (required)
- MA/BA in Social Work or related field (required)
