Job Title: Office Manager and Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager and Bookkeeper to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all general office operations, including bookkeeping, finance, administrative, and clerical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily bookkeeping in Xero, including credit control and collection of overdue debt
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions, including receiving calls for the CEO, Sales team, and Support team
  • Coordinate courier and postal services to clients and suppliers
  • Order supplier goods, office equipment, and sundries
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Assist the CEO in sourcing products and preparing quotes for clients
  • Create mileage and expense claims for the CEO
  • Manage renewals for office insurance, utilities, and other services
  • Liaise with supplier/customer accounts department
  • Update social media content (Facebook, LinkedIn)
Requirements:
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret correspondence and documents
  • Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Experience in office administration and bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of Xero accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Good business acumen and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills, with attention to detail and high organizational skills
Working Environment:

Our client operates from a modern office in Bracknell, with free onsite parking and easy access to the town centre. Applicants should ideally live within a 30-minute commute of our Bracknell office.
