Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students of varying abilities. You will play a key role in the development of our drama curriculum and will have the opportunity to direct school productions and lead extracurricular drama activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons that engage and inspire students.
* Develop and implement a dynamic drama curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
* Direct and produce school drama productions and performances.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote the arts within the school community.
* Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
* A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching drama at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4, KS5 desirable).
* Strong knowledge of drama and theatre pedagogy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for drama and a commitment to fostering students' artistic talents.
Requirements:
* The right to work in the UK.
* Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.
