Child Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Psychologist to join our team in Manchester. As a Principal Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological therapies to patients with complex mental health needs, including personality disorders, mental disorders, and intellectual disabilities.

• Develop and implement specialist psychological formulations and assessments of patients with complex presentations
• Provide specialist psychological assessments of patients based on appropriate analysis, interpretation, and integration of complex qualitative and quantitative data
• Administer and interpret assessments of cognitive and emotional functioning as required
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to diagnose, problem formulate, and develop treatment plans
• Experience of and/or an interest in rehabilitation and the recovery of patients in a forensic setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience of working with patients with complex mental health needs

• Competitive salary of £57,000 - £68,000 per annum DOE
