About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Sun Inn, a historic pub and restaurant in Faversham, Kent. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting our Head Chef, deputising in their absence, and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Assist with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient and high-quality food service
  • Contribute to the creation of menus and specials
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
