Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to act as a liaison between our clients and internal departments, ensuring the successful transition of projects from concept to completion and in compliance with contractual terms and SLAs.

Our client is a leading media procurement agency offering integrated print, creative, marketing, and digital solutions. They provide a full range of media solutions from all types of print through to social media strategies to help build company brands and establish strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will embody company values, possess excellent customer service and time management skills, and have a keen attention to detail. They will aid the Account Director in service delivery, improving margin and revenue, and driving cost savings while working effectively with other business functions, including Sales, Finance, Procurement, and IT/Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and respond to customer requests, ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the line manager in implementing new projects and account deliverables.
  • Understand contract deliverables (including financials) for the account and how the role contributes to these.
  • Manage the full end-to-end process, utilizing internal systems and ways of working as defined and within required timelines.
  • Where applicable, manage Account Executives through setting objectives, measuring performance, and identifying skills gaps.
  • Support driving continuous improvements across internal and external processes, innovations, communications, and services.
  • Take an active role in developing the account, supporting the Account Director, identifying, and escalating potential sales and margin opportunities.
  • Assist the Account Director in maintaining Ways of Working documents (WoWs).
  • Optimize the supply chain by utilizing internal resources and best practices.
  • Maximize commercial opportunities where possible on allocated accounts.
  • Proactively present innovation to clients and agency on an ongoing basis.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years print experience (print, direct mail, print management, large format, POS).
  • Two years of Account Management experience.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, under pressure, with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of initiative.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), administration, and interpersonal skills.
