Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Workshop/Maintenance Technician specializing in Subsea operations to enhance our dedicated Subsea team.
Primary Responsibilities
The role involves working under general supervision within the workshop environment, focusing on the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of subsea equipment. The technician will ensure that all equipment is prepared to company standards, maintaining a safe operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance, along with diagnosing and repairing subsea equipment according to established work plans and quality standards.
- Assist in the rigging up, assembly, and disassembly of equipment as necessary.
- Operate a forklift for the movement, loading, and unloading of equipment, provided the necessary qualifications are held.
- Perform inspections of equipment and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Report incidents and non-conformances following established procedures.
- Update job packs and submit them to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics and stores, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status, and operational updates.
- Utilize Stop Work Authority and engage in the Positive Intervention Programme.
- Maintain a clean working environment by performing daily housekeeping of the workspace and tools.
- Provide guidance and basic training to technicians as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and operations personnel to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Technical Qualification required.
- Extensive workshop experience, preferably in subsea operations.
