HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer

Vantage Consulting is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for various projects, including OPVs, Mine Hunters, Submarines, and Aircraft Carriers.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Proposals: Develop comprehensive technical proposals for HVAC enquiries, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Project Management: Manage projects from concept to installation and commissioning support, coordinating with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design Calculations: Perform HVAC design load calculations to ensure efficient and effective system design.
- Client Interaction: Conduct site visits, surveys, and meet with clients to discuss project requirements and progress.
- Innovation: Identify new products or technologies that can enhance the company's market edge and propose alternative design philosophies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Technical Reviews: Conduct technical reviews of OEM designs to ensure compliance with client requirements before manufacture.
- Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Refrigeration is essential for this role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and air conditioning systems is required.
- Design Experience: Experience in HVAC or Mechanical Systems design is necessary for this position.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCad 2D and 3D, Inventor, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
