Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Technician to join our Market Drayton Dairy team. As a Shift Technician, you will be responsible for reactive maintenance and conducting planned maintenance activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of complex machinery and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Experience in a multi-skilled department maintaining fast-moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environments
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices
- Apprentice-trained with proven experience working on fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
- Team building skills and strong ability to work cross-functionally
