Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

Radar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client's senior leadership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-site operation, overseeing all aspects of maintenance and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a change management program to transform the engineering function from reactive to proactive and planned.
  • Develop and implement a proper planned maintenance strategy, driving root cause analysis and machinery reliability.
  • Oversee capital projects on site, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Manage, coach, and support the engineering team to achieve technical strategy performance metrics.
  • Communicate engineering team goals and objectives to engineering staff members.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

About the Role:

This is a brand new position, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's engineering function. As a senior leader, you will be given the autonomy to drive change and implement your vision. The company is growing quickly, and there is future scope to move into wider engineering or operational roles as part of a development plan.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Engineering Manager, preferably in a multi-site operation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but wider FMCG experience will be considered.
