About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with complex needs, including catheter care, PEG feeding, suction, cough assist, tracheostomy care, sensory loss, and bladder and bowel care.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including wheelchair and hoist transfers.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

About Our Client

Our client is a young lady who requires support to attend school and with tasks at home. She is described as a 'Cheeky Diva' with an infectious personality, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Requirements

  • Experience in catheter care, PEG feeding, suction, cough assist, tracheostomy care, sensory loss, and bladder and bowel care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
